I just want to clear something up:

Did I LIKE Tom Brady? No

But did I RESPECT Tom Brady? Fuck no

Fuck him & his fans. Mahomes GOAT.

I can't tell you how much I hate these shows and didn't enjoy that experience at all.

I know he gets hate but once again I really thought Colin Cowherd made a great point in his most recent podcast with Nick Wright.

He asked, what if in 30 years we look at Tom Brady the same way we look at Bill Russell? More rings than anyone, but everyone recognizes there has been better quarterbacks to play after him…

I think he kinda nails it there, that’s where it’s headed.

Tom = Bill Russell
Mahomes = MJ

watched that again multiple times and you still can't tell exactly when the ball is loose. Mecole is moving it towards the goalline but it is milliseconds before he is down if it is moving. Should have been inconclusive and the play stands per the rule of clear and decisive evidence. That being said, dumb play by Mecole and a dumber call by Andy.

Regardless, he should be aware of time and place. Its first down. You still have 3 more chances at the 1/2 yard line.

It's this hero ball shit we see all the time. Instead of falling on the ball and getting it deep in your territory. You try to scoop and score and we don't get shit.

Almost every DB that intercepts the ball in the end zone runs it out. 95% of the time they get tackled at the 5-10 yard line.

Total Yards (including rushing):

Patrick Mahomes: 30,200
Lamar Jackson: 21,000

Total TDs (including rushing):

Patrick Mahomes: 231
Lamar Jackson: 154

I mean it really isn't terribly close but Shady didn't have a laptop in front of him to make the point as well as he wanted to. The stats DON'T lie. Mahomes is about 50% better than Jackson in both total yards and total touchdowns. He's just a FAR more productive football player.

Always has been. He always will be.

Right now he's dealing with a talent disadvantage on the roster. That's an issue I believe will likely be remedied in the coming off-season. And even at that, he's STILL 40% likely to win this game. When the stats say that teams that have what the Ravens have will absolutley make the SB 100% of the time.

Shady's right - give Lamar the win this weekend; hell give him a championship in 3 weeks and it STILL isn't close.

:-)

That’s so fu king great. :-)

I’m at work and that caught me off guard to the point folks are asking what’s so funny.

FWIW, Travis took responsibility for not making\finishing the block on the player that ultimately hit Hardman and knocked the ball out. I was kinda shocked at that as I'd never heard anyone say anything about that. Travis just vollunteered it up on his podcast today.

After watching the play, I mean, yeah, the guy slipped off of Travis' block and made the play on Hardman. I STILL say Mecole has to know where he is in the game and protect the ball at all costs. Yes, he wanted a TD so bad he could taste it, but even if Travis may have "missed" his block, it's still on Hardman to know where he is, what's at stake, and the fact that if he didn't get in it would have been 2nd and goal from the 1\2 yard line.

I think Travis is just over thinking it or being a nice guy and trying to take some heat off of his teammate.
