Looks like it's time to put ol' Fivehead out to pasture. Dad's coming in to provide high cover for him so he can bravely ride off in to the Colorado sunset. [Reply]
I think it's safe to say is foot is messed up ... my guess is they would really like the option of playing him at PIT if stuff hits the fan. Oh well. [Reply]

howdy lil chiefy! the Broncos offense is going backwards, it is what it is. Brock will have one more game to put some points on the board. I've been saying from the beginning that the Broncos have to know if Brock is the future or not, and they are rapidly finding out if he can or can't produce. [Reply]

Brock has started 4 NFL games with a horrid offensive line. He ain't a poor man's Smith. He actually has upside. Smith, well, he is what he is. [Reply]

You're right, he might not be a poor man's Smith yet. Maybe next season. [Reply]

Brock actually tries to throw down field, but he is struggling with accuracy. I think it's a bit of nerves too, since his offensive line sucks, he's simply not comfortable. He's got a lot on his shoulders, and he knows it. He's gone 3-1 but the standards are so high in Denver, it may not be good enough. He's really got to play well against Pitt. [Reply]

Based on what, exactly?
Brock has regressed as defenses have more and more tape on him.
If the line can't block for very long, he needs to get the ball out quicker...with guys like Thomas and Sanders on the outside and 2 vets in Davis and Daniels at TE and decent running backs, that shouldn't be hard...but Brock holds the ball forever and takes sacks that really shouldn't be sacks.
Pittsburgh has forced 6 turnovers the last 2 games, Brock is going to need to play very very well to win.
Personally, I think your defense is going to limit Pittsburghs high powered offense to like 20 points...but I see your offense turning the ball over 2-3 times in bad situations and only scoring 13 points or less. [Reply]
