Nzoner's Game Room>Child dies at Schlitterbahn in KCK
tk13 03:29 PM 08-07-2016
This is horrifying. Supposed to be a press conference soon with more details. Rumors seem to indicate it happened on the Verrukt, the world's tallest waterslide.

Boy, 12, killed in accident at Schlitterbahn Water Park in Kansas City, Kan., police say. https://t.co/Msn6QJO1ZS pic.twitter.com/gse0gZvIC6

Looks like water slides across the state of Kansas are being outlawed because the son was a son of a Kansas lawmaker.

This sucks if you like water slides. I hate that this happened to a boy and his family but they should outlaw worlds tallest unsafe water slides and not go over bored with this.

I don't think a simple inspection is particularly overboard. In fact, if it made Chanute shut down a slide that they didn't think would pass inspection and was injuring kids, thats great news.

They pass this law about having inspections but

There are people on this site who won't know you are joking and will wholeheartedly agree with your statement.

Nah the politics guys all know I'm a libtard, and the people who don't go into that forum aren't batshit crazy. So I'd bet they get it.

Anyway, the point is most of those regulations everyone hates started for good reason, like this one.

Didn't the Schlitterban owners say they deliberately picked KS due to its lax regulations? Oops.

While I'm not going to lose my head over this I'm also not going to let this just let it slide by either.

What happened to this place? Where's the morbid puns? What happened to the Delta Chi I used to know?

You mean there aren't a whole lot of waterslide inspectors just waiting for an opportunity to rake in the big bucks??

If I ask something ominous, but leave it as an open question, can I garner the support of those who simply assume the question to be a statement of fact while remaining inoculated from the burden of actually establishing said fact?

Oops!!
