If you put together Teddy's 2019 season with the Saints and his first 10 games with the Panthers (he was playing through a knee injury after that) his numbers would be:
Games played: 15
Completions: 371
Attempts: 526
Comp%: 70.4
Yards: 3936
Yards Per Attempt: 7.4
Touchdowns: 24
Interceptions: 13
Passer Rating: 96.95

That's not setting the world on fire but when you consider our how bad our QB play was last year, it's a MAJOR upgrade.

2020 Broncos QB's:

Completions: 317
Attempts: 556
Comp%: 57
Yards: 3673
Yards Per Attempt: 6.6
Touchdowns: 21
Interceptions: 23
Passer Rating: 72.5
Okay. Let's say that Teddy gets you those numbers. Do you think that is enough to win the division? To win enough games to get a wild card? You can figure on the Chiefs, Bills and Browns as virtual locks to win their division. The Titans probably win their division. Them you have the Squealers, Shitbirds, Faiders, Çhargers, and Dolphins fighting for the 3 WC spots. I don't see how your Donks beat out 3 of those teams to get in.

Is this proof that Knowshit is the “bring Mahomes stats to the medium and he’s average “ guy?

Denver is trash. They suck. They haven’t had a winning season in half of a decade. They’re going to continue to get their asses kicked by Mahomes.

This is going to be Brady vs the Bills all over again

He has started 59 games in his career with 53 TDs....even in the time-frame you posted, he averaged 1 TD a game.

That included 9 games in a Sean Payton offense...

There is absolutely no reason to think, behind a sketchy o-line...that he will be anything more than he already is...especially with Shurmur as his OC and 1st year in the system.

18 TDs would be the best year of his career.

20-27 TDs is a number you pulled out of your ass...there is no statistical evidence to back that up.

You can't make projections like that based off of 2 seasons with 2 different teams that were not even the Broncos. The variables are not the same. If he had been with the Broncos the last 3 years, okay, maybe you might have a valid argument. But he hasn't.

He had a career year (albeit abreviated) with the Saints in 2019 starting in place of Brees. Then again, the Saints were a MUCH better team that year than the Broncos currently are now. You have a lot of young pieces (at WR & TE) that haven't figured out the NFL game yet. Nor have they had a ton of time with Teddy B. Your O-Line is still a BIG question mark.

Your QB is a career 66% passer with a TD-INT ratio of 53-36.

2021 Season for Teddy B. 18TD's, 12 INT's, 67% completion %, 3700 yards.

Go ahead and write that down. Those will be his #'s for the year (and I think I'm actually being a little generous). That is assuming he gets to start the whole year and doesn't get injured or lose his job to Lock at some point.

Is that better than your 2020 QB's? Yeah. But enough to really move the needle much?

He might take you from a 5 win team to a 7 win team. So you've got that going for you, I guess. :-)

We essentially said the same thing...8 wins is their ceiling IMO.

Bridgewater is a fairly easy QB to defend...stylistically and Shurmur isn't very creative... make him beat you deep...

Your 2021 numbers wouldn't surprise me either. But you guys are severely underestimating how talented the Broncos are. The OL isn't shaky. We have a second team All Pro at LT and we're solid across the rest of the line, and we have excellent depth on the interior. Mike Munchak has done a great job rebuilding our OL.

Our defense is freaky. Almost 2015 level freaky. Our top 4 corners would be the #1 guy on a lot of teams, including every team in the AFCW AND we have the best safety tandem in the entire league. Our DL is great and we have depth all along it.

This is a playoff team, and had we gotten Rodgers we would've won it all in 2021 if we stayed healthy.

Win the division? Probably not because we don't have that guy at QB and every team in the division has a good one. But I wouldn't be shocked if we did. Unless we get hit by the injury bug I would be surprised if we didn't make it to the playoffs.

Knowmo, at the end of the day we have a solid Chargers team with an exciting young QB to at least keep us on our toes. We don't concern ourselves with irrelevant teams like Denver
