2015 you don’t say? Seems another event happened in 2015 as well... oh yeah, that’s right the last time Dungver beat KC was 2015. Wow, a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong ass time ago. Is Wade coming back to run his defense? Is Manning there to get some questionable calls in his favor? 2015 Von was in his prime. Now he’s about to finish his career winless against Mahomes. Oof. I often wondered how words got applied to certain things...I mean, who first called the sky "sky", a tree a "tree", etc. etc.
Conversely, who also coined particular phrases? for example, somebody was the first person to say "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush...." or "a rolling stone gathers no moss...",
amazingly, words and phrases not only had to catch on, but be used so frequently as to become part of standard language know throughout the history of humanity. It is simply mind-blowing to think of how every common word or phrase in humanity started with someone, somewhere, utilizing said word or phrase.
I only mention this because nobody, in the history of man-kind, has ever accepted the phrase "franchise cornerback" as part of lexicon, because humanity as a whole knows it's simply a ridiculous notion and reject it as a whole..... [Reply]

When your first-round cornerback isn't fast enough to cover wide receivers, that's a bad pick. [Reply]

You're taking my post out of context.
Nobody is worried about "your awesome run blocking OL". Any play that takes the ball out of Mahomes' hands and puts it into CEH's is a massive win for the defense. [Reply]

Not really the case near the goal line. I just remember how many times KC had to settle for red zone FG's. Probably get 6 now. More points is a good thing. Denver should try it sometimes. :-) [Reply]

Oh, and you're taking PRESEASON out of context. I get that's all you have, but still... [Reply]

Your running game should be slightly improved over last year but this isn't the early 2000 Chiefs OL with Priest Holmes and LJ or anything. Teams aren't going to have to sacrifice a bunch of coverage or pass rush in order to stop you from running the ball. [Reply]

Your quarterbacking should be equally as dismal as last year. You know, where Lockweiler finished 33 out of 32 starters. Lmmfao. Hello, McFly.... are you home?? [Reply]

Maybe numbers wise, but Id bet the situational running game will be a lot better. How could it not be? And the passing game will benefit from it . The OL was the #1 thing that needed improvement. It was vastly improved. IMO KC starts out slower this season becaue the line needs to get some chemistry. By the time you bitches come to town, we'll be rolling. [Reply]
