I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.

The only way the Bengals falter is if Burrow is injured. He still has a hump to get over when he's healthy though. If he's healthy this year and they don't get the job done, then i have to believe it's not going to happen.
Okay, assume that Burrow's 100%. They still have a defense that was next to last last season. What have they done to fix that?
And how can you think that losing Boyd, Mixon and Higgins won't matter? [Reply]

I wasn't paying attention to those cucks last year. Their defense was NEXT TO LAST? What? [Reply]

Yeah. The inexperience and changing of the guard at S really seemed to bother them. Plus, Reader missed a bunch of the year and Wilson and Pratt looked a lot more mortal without him. [Reply]

I knew they were struggling without Burrow, but GODDAMN. [Reply]

I love how Bengals fans say this, not just you, but then get to define the parameters of 'when' he was actually healthy last season.
'Well, the first two quarters of that 4th game, and then the two games where he played well against the good teams, and that one second half against the ?' But the rest of the season when he was struggling, that was just because he was unhealthy, yeah, that's what it was.' :-) [Reply]

They've added pieces and shuffled pieces on the defense. Vonn Bell is back. He was the guy responsible for adjustments when he was here before. Dax Hill is moving back to the CB room.
Boyd was ok but his production is replaceable. Mixon was a volume back and JAG. Higgins isn't going anywhere. [Reply]
