Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Getting annoyed at guys constantly falling at mahomes feet on pass rush. He’s stepping over ppl and dodging bodies at his ankles on half his drop back [Reply]

Annoyed the refs won't flag some of this stuff. There's a dirty component to some of this. [Reply]

Yep. I think the league is now all in with the impression that Mahomes’ lower body is injury prone. Andy’s complete refusal to do QB sneaks and the articles from 2019 suggesting that Mahomes is prone to joint issue (dislocations, high ankle sprains, etc) adds fuel to that fire. [Reply]

The game is safer now, but there are always going to be players and coaches who want to do this to you.
And like it or not, one day Camelot will die. It is inevitable.

I don't think there's a dirty component to it. What do you want them to do make it illegal for QBs to get hit low? They throw enough flags for QB hits as it is. In my opinion, they throw too many.
It's football. There's a physical aspect to it. NFL QBs are protected enough w all the rules they have in place. Reality is if a player as a body part that is prone to injures - well then of course certain defenders might target it. It's a part of the game and you can't change that.
That said, Mahomes has an extremely high tolerance for pain and his arm strength is unreal. He limps a lot but he seems to be able to shake it off and then continue to play at a high level.
As long as he continues to be able to shake off the injuries he seems to get that lead to him limping - he should be OK. [Reply]

I think it’s because Mahomes is so good they can’t give him extra help, the problem with that is he’s going to get hurt if they always allow him to get hit. [Reply]

Mahomes clears up that it wasn’t an ankle he tweaked over the weekend. “When you were in high school, did you ever have someone frog you?” He asked. Said he caught a knee straight to the calf. “Just a good old fashioned frog there.” pic.twitter.com/4rAYRJKtIn
