Me too.. My reasoning was I want NE to lose as many games possible so they don't make the playoffs. Do not want them in the tournament. Yeah, felt the same way. Not scared of NE at all, but I just need to wallow in my hatred for the Patriots a little longer. Some of my buddies are Pats fans, and their tears would be so delicious if they missed the playoffs . . . mmmmm.

The biggest thing is the coaching staff. You see guys like Lamar and Allen looking good bc they have competent coaching and front offices getting talent.

I’ll give them this though: they’ve been pretty fucked with unforeseen circumstances. Starting RT opts out, QB gets hurt for awhile, Von out for the year, Casey out for the year, Bouye out, Lindsay out, Gordon out for being retarded and they’ve lost Fant for a game or two as well.

So Horseface has been terrible at identifying OL talent...he's thrown a lot of money at it and nothing really panned out. Its kind of amazing because blind luck "should" happen at some point...
So Bolles is now the 3rd best LT in football...debatable but he has improved. HF declined to pick up his 5th year option....he has a gift for being wrong on all things OL.
Do they sign him to an extension...or use the draft capital, they just gained, on ANOTHER 1st round LT. Sewell is supposed to be amazing prospect...but its kind of breaking even. Sucks to tank a season...to just draft a cheaper replacement. [Reply]
