Here's something interesting to ponder today. Here's a list of the pro bowlers drafted by the Chiefs and the Broncos since Elway started drafting. (Pro bowls can be for the their team or some other team just to keep it easy.)
One can argue that the only successful draft pick in Elway's nine years was Von Miller, and it's hard to screw up the #2 pick in the draft.
Chiefs:
13 pro bowlers with 31 selections.
3-63 - Travis Kelce - 5 Pro Bowls
5-165 - Tyreek Hill - 4 Pro Bowls
3-70 - Justin Houston - 4 Pro Bowls
1-18 - Marcus Peters - 3 Pro Bowls
2-55 - Rodney Hudson - 3 Pro Bowls
1-10 - Patrick Mahomes - 2 Pro Bowls
1-11 - Dontari Poe - 2 Pro Bowls
2-56 - Mecole Hardman - 1 Pro Bowls
3-86 - Kareem Hunt - 1 Pro Bowls
2-37 - Chris Jones - 1 Pro Bowls
5-172 - D.J. Alexander - 1 Pro Bowls
1-23 - Dee Ford - 1 Pro Bowls
1-1 - Eric Fisher - 1 Pro Bowls
broncos:
4 pro bowlers with 12 selections
1-2 - Von Miller - 8 Pro Bowls
4-129 - Julius Thomas - 2 Pro Bowls
2-40 - Courtland Sutton - 1 Pro Bowls
5-137 - Malik Jackson - 1 Pro Bowls [Reply]

That was my 1st argument with MHM. We've been at it ever since...:-)
It's been a good multi-decades long discussion for sure. :-) [Reply]
I'm still curious what Goodell would do to a team that so overtly greased their jerseys...that they had to actually stop play during a post-season game.
I would think immediate forfeiture...coaching staff suspended for a year, player suspensions, docked draft picks...and massive fines...I mean they DID get docked draft picks and fines...but that was for the other systemic cheating they did that season.
Of course to the donk-cheater fanbase...it was a perfectly legitimate win. Even to this day...they cant admit it.

That's pretty interesting.
Of our 13 we have only 6 left on our roster.
Of Denvers 4 ,well, none are playing tonight. [Reply]
It seems the Broncos coaching staff and Elway still can’t figure out the great mystery of how to properly wear a mask. It is no wonder they can’t understand the more complicated concepts like how to play football well. I wonder if all the camera shots of assistant coaches and Elway wearing masks incorrectly in tonight’s game will cause the NFL to hand out more punishment? IMO the Broncos should volunteer to surrender draft picks since they would just waste those anyhow. [Reply]
