Jets or Denver at home. Pitt is winning out

3 games left and then the playoffs. I cheer for the jersey... not just the # on the jersey.
They look more like a 6-7 team with a rabbit's foot up their ass.

I would still rather play Houston first round and then travel to Pile High.

He looked like ass from game 1 not just the KC game. He's done.

Brock hasn't earned some right to avoid a benching at this point. It was his job to keep... he may not keep it the next 3 games. Doesn't mean he can't come back in 2016.

Who do you want to start?

I don't care, quite honestly. The loss to OAK just leaves a void, you can't lose that game at home and have big goals. Sure, Del Rio was familiar with Brock and the DEF... but, you don't lose that game. They were so apathetic.

It's Christmas so I'm not going to let them ruin it for me, I cheer for the jersey and cannot control who starts, so hopefully they make the right call. All I can do is cheer. :-) and vent a little

Doesn't matter who it is to be honest. If Manning comes back, he's going to get his head kicked in and it's only a matter of time before he's hurt again because that oline is atrocious. He hasn't been good all year. That's why I laugh at people making excuses for the KC game. He's just done. The best hope would he let him sit and get a bye. Then play him out of a bye. That's when he'd be the freshest.

As for Osweiler, I've said since watching him. His release is long like Byron Leftwich. He holds the ball too long and has a low release. This guy is 6'8" and fucking has more tipped passes at the line than Alex Smith. He's still a better option probably of the two. You need to see more from him these last few games and in the playoffs.

Yeah, Brock is trying to find his way and they've been more conservative than I desire, but I get it. If they stick with Brock, they can win with him... the team has lots of talent. If Peyton is healthier after 4 weeks off, then he can have success as well.

The OL has been their big issue all year, they have to employ a scheme that hides those issues. If Brock starts, they need to do more bootlegs and play action. They take the one big strike down the right side to Sanders at least once a game - and that's ok, but mix it up. Don't let that be the one big strike down the field.

They need more two TE sets with Daniels and Davis, those guys are catching nearly everything thrown their way. Spread the field, open up the middle with the TEs and the RB. I like Thompson at RB and believe he should get more reps, but that's just me.

Defensively, they need Ware to be a vocal leader - they respond to him, not Talib or Miller - they're not leaders. They need to be led.

The defense is playing well overall, they haven't been allowed to have a breaking moment - it happened once really against the Raiders and it cost them because the offense was so dead in the red zone.

There's very little creativity in that offense and they have too many skill players that can make something happen for that to be the case. Fowler and Caldwell are nice weapons that could be used differently.

The smart thing this week - let Brock start, learn from the disaster last week and see how he recovers in a big game on the road. That's the smart thing... I doubt Manning is ready, but if it's just a ploy to keep PIT guessing, that's fine.

Brock has to improve with his decision making and that will come with time, hell he's 3-1 in his first 4 starts - not bad. But, it's been incredibly too safe more often than not and safe doesn't win games.

Thomas, Sanders, Davis, Daniels, Hillman, Thompson, Fowler, Caldwell... those are solid weapons and despite the OL, they have to find a way to get those guys open. They certainly missed CJ Anderson last week and that's a hole that Thompson didn't fill well.

We'll see how it goes this week.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Kubiak led teams always start out strong and then do poorly to finish the season when he was coaching the Texans?

They played well until they ran into Manning, which is ironic. :-)

Not fully accurate - Kubes was 1-1 against Manning as a Cheating Donx (however he was much worse against Manning as a Colt). In 2012, the Texans went into Denver week 3 and spanked them. Denver got a couple of cheap TD's late to make the score respectable (kinda like we did against GB this year), but that game was settled early on. What's ironic is that Denver didn't lose another game all year and overtook Houston down the stretch to claim the AFC's # 1 seed as Houston lost two of its last 3 to finish 12-4.

Following year was the Texans 2-12 season and Manning and the Donx spanked them badly in Houston late in the year.

How are turds like Fowler and Caldwell solid weapons?

Broncos have to be able to run the ball. If they cant, they can't win with osweiler throwing it 51 times per game.
