Coming off an American League Divisional Series appearance, its year 3 of Matt Quatraro tenure. Can they take the next step to a division title? Can Bobby Witt, Jr. take his superstar status to another level? Can Cole Ragans develop more? Will the other starting pitching duplicate last season? The offense can it deliver more? Who will be in the outfield? How about the new stadium development?

Cags is 6 for 11 this spring with three homers, three walks, a double and only one strikeout. His general opponent level has been roughly AA, but he’s done it against two big leaguers today. He’ll likely start in AA but if all goes well, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s up quick.

As The Wolf so aptly said, “let’s not go sucking each other’s dicks quite yet…”
I’m as pumped as anyone to see Jac turn into an all-star type, let alone an MVP type of player, but the realistic/cynic side of me has just seen this shit too many times for me to go “all in”.
But fuck me…. As I mentioned before…. If Jac turns into the real deal that we’re all hoping for, having him and BWJ in the lineup during their prime years is gonna cook. And that’s gonna be a lot of fun.
If he can play a competent RF, and if Salvy has enough in the tank for another all-star type season, plus a few more solid years, plus Vinnie, potentially Massey, MJ, Maikel and India…. We just might have something special. [Reply]
