Hollywood Brown has the same injury that Tyreek Hill suffered in Jacksonville back in 2019, Andy Reid said. He’s at the hospital being checked out.

If anything, getting hurt earlier gives you more time to recover and get back into the season. The pros outweigh the cons.
The difference is there is no reason for actual good players of value to be playing in meaningless preseason games. That is not the case for the regular season where teams are trying to rack up wins to make the playoffs.

So because one player gets hurt in 10 years of doing this, this now proves Andy has been wrong the whole time and you know better than him?

Got it.

The risk far outweighs the actual value for anybody worth anything to this team.

Do you think Mahomes was gonna look any different in week 1 if he didn’t get his 2-3 drives Andy seems compelled to give him in the preseason?

Well shit

Hardman had a great deep ball catch in the Super Bowl. He is still a threat. No worries but still shitty news.

I think Andy should follow the same logic he applies in week 17 to the preseason, yes.

And most coaches in the league are already trending this way about their attitudes toward the preseason. Eventually it will happen for everyone.

Throwing a rookie into the fire can be bad or they will rise to the top, I’m putting 1K on Worthy to win rookie of the year

Shit happens
At least they were playing those guys in actual games that mattered instead of glorified scrimmages. You don’t think there’s a difference there?

I'm guessing they won't want to re-sign him after this.

Hollywood's KC career: 1 preseason snap.

Thats... literally why good players play in the preseason. So they don't suck the first 3 weeks of the season losing games they shouldn't. It matters.

If you get hurt week 1 you probably miss more meaningful games than if you got hurt in preseason. What about getting hurt during practice? That happens too. Should we bubble wrap everyone until the game starts so no one gets hurt?

Theres always risk and fluke accidents and rotten bad luck. It doesn't matter if it happens in preseason or week 1.

Let Worthy learn. Then add a vet later in the season.

Hell, maybe this gives us an opportunity to extend him cheaper.
Why would we want to extend that guy? He's a broke dick ghag couldn't even make it out of the first drive of the preseason. This is what he does and it'll just get worse and worse.

Name all the starters we've lost in the Andy Reid era due to a preseason injury. I think I'll trust his judgement considering we are always more prepared than other teams to start the season.
