I can already see Andy using this guy for RPO slants and those jet/orbit motion handoffs. He looked really explosive catching the ball in stride on those slant routes.
Looks to be really good at corralling the ball and getting his feet down for sideline routes as well.
I think Hardman and Thompson's ability to be incorporated into the jet sweep and motion role that Hill played is very important. Those motions have become a big part of this offense. How quickly both or either can pick up the playbook will be very important. Hope they came ready to work.. [Reply]
Jets tried to position themselves to trade up into 2nd round for Georgia WR Mecole Hardman, per sources... but Chiefs traded up 1 spot ahead (No. 56 overall) to get him to be a potential replacement for Tyreek Hill.

That move has helped bring my confidence level back in to line, everything surrounding it. What I want to know is how you get to the next level, the one where you're winning super bowls AND rolling in to the draft with 10 or 11 picks. That would be a great goal to set. [Reply]

Trade back, acquire more picks, hit on a lot of said picks, profit. [Reply]

After the Amerson, Ragland, Scandrick, Hitchens, Speaks etc.. moves I wasn't too high on Veach.
However, he did have one hell of a draft. Feel much better moving forward... [Reply]

I think people were more excited for DAT. Picked at like #100, not the first pick in a draft
When DAT was drafted, (2014) our receiving corp was far worse. Bowe on his last legs, Avery, and a young TE named Kelce who had never played a down. Quarterbacked by Alex Smith.
Hardman also had more than twice as many receiving yards in 2018 than DAT had in his final season at Oregon [Reply]
