The sports card market is absolutely booming right now. I sold off enough of my other stuff to buy this. There are only 10 of them. It is indescribably beautiful.

I could have bought baseball cards any day I wanted, so maybe I misspoke about Topps, but Panini did not increase prints of their products and if they did I'd be willing to bet most of that was hobby products. [Reply]

Honestly didn't even know Topps still existed, haven't seen them around in forever so I just figured Panini had bought them out like they did everyone else

Topps has exclusive license for MLB and doesn’t bother to make unlicensed cards. Panini has exclusive NFL and NBA license, but still makes MLB cards without team logos because the MLBPA is on board. Most MLB collectors won’t touch Panini because of it. [Reply]

Well I'm glad at least one old school card brand didn't sell out, sure wish they could still do football product... are Topps MLB cards as expensive and scarce as Panini football these days? [Reply]
