Nzoner's Game Room>Let’s talk about the Buffalo Bills
pugsnotdrugs19 04:20 PM 11-10-2024
CBS sending their pre-game show on-site for this one; pretty much unheard of for a regular season game

Chiefs came out healthy today from what I saw. Bills TE Dalton Kincaid left game today with knee injury.

I think Kansas City will bring it for this one, but Buffalo should too. Can’t wait.

Allen has thrown 4 INTs in his past three games, including 2 today.

I have a hard time taking that analysis seriously when it refers to the Bills struggling against the slot and then... just... doesn't talk about how the Chiefs use Kelce and a big WR as slot weapons.

Hopkins and Smith-Schuster will work the big slot role. If the Bills truly struggle against slot receivers (I have no idea, but it's WF saying they do, so who knows if that is actually true), then they will continue to struggle against them.

The last time the offense looked truly potent in 2022, we won three playoff games by a combined total of 13 points (7 against JAX, 3 against CIN and 3 against PHI).

Not much different from the following season where the offense seemed stagnant and the defense was elite.
I alsways assume playoff games will be close no matter how many team we blowout in the regular season , may as well learn to win those games , I mean it sucks , it’s stressful as a fan but kind of out of my control.

So other than more than half of them I don't know.

By far most excited for a regular season game since....?

Maybe Cincy in 2022?

I love the fact that the national press is almost lockstep in picking the Bills to beat us this week.

I'm always much more comfortable when the armchair warriors say we don't have a chance. :-)

We got away with a pretty blatant DPI that would have set the Falcons up at the 1 yard line. I can’t remember the exact score at that point but my memory tells me they would have taken the lead with a TD there.

And the Chargers game was a 10-10 tie midway through the 4th, IIRC.

We may have never trailed in the 4th, but those games were definitely a bit too close for comfort.

Yeah, I think a team of our caliber should be able to win a Wild Card game handily but anything Divisional and beyond is expected to be a dogfight.

Although I would absolutely love to win a Super Bowl in blowout fashion.

They also scored alot of points though, but the Bengals game was all riddled with injuries.

Maybe it's just me, but this game doesn't excite me, nor does any Bills regular season game.

Josh Allen and McDermott treat this game like it's their super bowl every year and play it with that intensity. We always seem to play it as if it's another game, because that's what it is. So I just don't get all that excited by it, since the team as a whole seems pretty non-plussed about it.

Doesn't look like Coleman will play and Cooper is iffy.

That would be nice.

What's the word on Kincaid?

That’s true, and Pat himself was injured badly with the high ankle sprain.

I’m just saying, this team has been all offense/no defense, all defense/no offense, and balanced. It never seems to matter, we’re almost always playing in tight games, even in the playoffs.

The only time we consistently won big in the postseason was 2020. And yeah, that was probably the best Chiefs team of the Mahomes era and we got a lucky draw with a mediocre Browns team and a Bills team that was still a year away from competing at that level.
