Every time I watch this kid he struggles when there is even a slight amount of pressure, which still makes me laugh because they had extra picks in one of the deepest OT classes in years and passed on the following players:
Josh Jones
Ezra Cleveland
Lucas Niang
Matt Peart
Ben Bartch
Saadihq Charles
They are relying on Mongo and Wilkinson, the guy we embarrassed when we faced Lock.
Bold strategy El Fraud
There might be a Miami Dolphins that gives up all hope and has a fire sale before the season starts in an effort to tank for Lawrence. Horseface could always give up a stupid haul to trade for a Laremy Tunsil.

Donks wins came against 4 teams that collectively had a 25-38-1 record...that translates to ruffly 6 wins a season.
You predicted a 9-7 record...maybe if you only play the bottom 1/3 of the NFL.
It's not only that he played bad teams...but only put up a 200 yard average. The Texans meltdown padded that average by 30 yards...
Lock reminds me of Cutler...stylistically. I watched him a lot with the Bears... Here are the stats through their first 5 games...
Culter 9 TDs 5 INT 200 YPG
Lock 7 TDs 3 INT 205 YPG
Mahomes 14 TDs 1 INT 300 YPG
7 win ceiling in 2020....Lock ranked 29th in QB index last year.
Being that Lock isn't really an accurate passer...Lamb would have been my choice over Jeudy. Better hands and a larger catch radius...precision routes dont matter if the ball is off target. [Reply]
In honor of Knowmo's return, I decided to re-watch the condensed version of all of Lock's games from last year, last week. I wasn't impressed.
As a Mizzou fan, I already know Lock's strengths and weaknesses. He has the arm and athleticism; he doesn't have the head and the heart. He is not going to pick up a team and carry them to a win.
I'm hoping he proves me wrong, I kinda like him as a person. I also don't want to watch the AFCW become the AFCE. I want to watch Mahomes play good/competitive teams.
Atleast you didn't spend half of an entire draft on him, like the Bears did with Trubisky. [Reply]

At least you didn't spend half of an entire draft on him, like the Bears did with Trubisky.
I'd imagine their fans were pretty excited when he started out 2-1....kind of like Donko fans right now.
How long do you stick with a rookie QB after you know he's not going to be good enough?
If I were a GM...first full season as a starter is a wash. After the 2nd full season..you know. That's 32 games....if they haven't shown it, they wont.
Teams spend way too much time hoping their QB will become something they arent... [Reply]

And while you should treat first years from rookie starters as a wash, sometimes you just know it's not going to work out after year one.
I just don't see Dwayne Haskins' dinking and dunking at Ohio State turning him into a franchise QB. [Reply]
