But Pennington was possibly the most accurate passer I'd ever seen to that point. He was just razor precise out there.
In the right system, he could've won a championship, IMO. You put him in that sort of short passing game system that Brady ran and tell me why he couldn't have been among the top passers in the league.

This is an interview of Pat Sr. by a Chicago sports radio show a couple of months ago. Apologies if this has been posted before, but it just popped up on my YouTube feed. Hilarious. The guy's reaction at 0:45 pretty much sums up the reaction to Chicago passing on Mahomes of every Bears fan I've ever met. :-)
