Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

I was looking at some stuff recently and came across the 1996 Packers. They had the #1 scoring offense and #1 scoring defense. They scored 28.5 PPG and only allowed 13 PPG. That squad has to be a lowkey candidate for one of the best teams of all-time.
They had the #5 scoring defense in 1997 and #11 scoring defense in 1998. They did a decent job of surrounding Favre with some talent, at least for a bit, and ultimately capitalizing during that stretch as well. [Reply]
I keep coming in here to see something new and cool about my favourite QQ Patrick Mahomes but all I see is people arguing about which washed up Packers QB sucks less , please stop [Reply]

#2 scoring defense in 2010 for Rodgers’ championship season. Looks like the Chiefs were #16 in scoring defense for 2022. Pretty remarkable championship this year. [Reply]

Especially considering rookie snaps and 2PM’s cap hit. [Reply]

As for the 4th quarter comebacks, there's a LOT of Elway in that stat. Favre had a lot of 4th quarter comebacks because he spent the first 3 quarters shooting himself in the dick.

And Favre had a career 186-112 winning percentage and a .624 win%
Rodgers is at 147-75 for a .662 win%. Quarterback wins aren't a great stat by any means, but I think it's fair to say neither guy had an obviously better environment than the other and if you're going to say one of them led more 4th quarter comebacks, I think it's fair to point out that he won with less regularity as well. Which sure suggests that many of those comebacks were self-inflicted.
Some years-farve had as many INT's and TD's. Maybe for his career too. [Reply]

Right. I lost a lot of money for me at the time because I thought there was no fucking way Eli Manning’s pussy ass was going to go to the tundra and beat Favre. They beat the bejesus out of them. Badly.

Which is why the "Brett Favre stole from poor people through his charitable foundation!!!" stuff cracks me up.
That dude isn't smart enough to be conniving.
I saw on some documentary somewhere that he was drinking a shitload in Atlanta. [Reply]

2018 Mahomes was basically peak Favre. Literally's Favre's ceiling has been Patrick's floor.
Patrick’s even admitted as much. Saying he was just going out and “winging it” in 2018 :-). Said he didn’t get confident in starting to read defenses until midway through the 2019 season. [Reply]

Saw that in a separate interview. Kelce went to the Sugar Bowl and partied it up on Bourbon Street, then got popped on a drug test. Butch Jones took over the next year and gave Travis the boot, only to later offer him a position at tight end after Jason went to bat for Travis IF he could keep his grades over a 3.0. Travis ended up on the Dean's List at UC and the rest is basically history. [Reply]
