Okay, here is a place for the Golfers to talk about tournaments, clubs, swing help or thoughts.
Today is the Players Championship, which I think ought to be the 5th Major. Largest pot in the PGA. The daunting 17th, which seems to bring excitement every year. At least we will get to see Sergio blow up yet again.
What's the next wave of golfers from England look like? Seems like forever they've had the same 4 or 5 really good guys and then complete dog shit. [Reply]

I don't know if it's bigger or worse. It's just another. He's won four majors and completely crapped away two times as many.
When it comes to major championship golf, he's a loser. He's Karl Malone. It wouldn't matter if he had a ten shot lead or a one shot lead, he was bound and determined to find a way to lose, because in big tournaments, and especially the US Open, that's what he does. He's mentally weak. [Reply]

You have to give Rose credit, though. He didn't luck into it like Geoff Ogilvy or Webb Simpson. He didn't hit a chip shot that was going to go 40 feet by and have it catch the low edge and go in (which defies all known laws of physics). He knew he had to make par on 17 and 18 and he did it.
