Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Extremely thin line between winning and losing in the NFL. Look at the Colts. That team had a good enough roster to beat the Chiefs and damn near beat the Eagles. Yet the Colts had a pretty bad record on the season. New coaching staff for 2023 and who knows how that will go for them.
It’s gonna be the Bengals and Chiefs on top of the AFC with the Bills and Jags right behind them and the Chargers behind them.
Even after winning a SB this guy still can't help but blow smoke up the ass of the opposition.
Your head coach agrees with me. It’s extremely difficult to win big in the NFL. He doesn’t take it for granted and I don’t take it for granted either. [Reply]

Nobody disagrees with this, but being confident that the Chiefs will win at least one more isn't "taking it for granted".
The Chiefs played the long game and still won a SB. Obviously there are no guarantees, but it isn't exactly crazy to say they will win at least another. We're set up for short term and long term success.
Veach, Reid, and Mahomes are the greatest GM/HC/QB trio ever. They ain't done. [Reply]
Only fear is they don’t have anything to really motivate them next year. First SB was motivated by Patriots championship game loss and this years by the Bengals championship game loss [Reply]

Patrick Mahomes is coming after Brady. Dude is going to piss excellence and take even the slightest diss with such offense it will fuel him to destroy any record he held previously. [Reply]

I’m really glad they won it this year. It’s amazing they pulled it off, especially with so many guys injured in the AFC title game. The injury “luck” is a large reason I won’t make assumptions on the future. I’m just glad a lot of the guys made it back for the Super Bowl. [Reply]

SI already picked the Chargers to win the AFC West next year… literally after the Super Bowl confetti had just finished falling for the Chiefs.
There will be no shortage of material from the haters. [Reply]

The Patriots reporter who called Mahomes “Alex English” added some new motivation for him as well. [Reply]
Herbert and Allen lack the moxie of Pat. Burrow looks like he has it but will a Mike Brown team fully commit to getting it done after Joe is paid? [Reply]
