Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
The funniest thing is that we’d seen Mahomes without Tyreek before. He played without Hill for a good piece of the first Super Bowl season. He also didn’t have Hill or Kelce for that Steelers regular season game. [Reply]

I loved that 2021 Steelers game. Kelce was 100% out and Tyreek barely played. Patrick is at his best when he doesn't try to force the ball too much to his favorite targets, and when he stays locked in on converting first downs instead of trying to force the deep ball.
He spread the passes around to a bunch of different guys and absolutely torched the Steelers defense. He went 77% completions, 3 TD and 0 turnovers, 135/158 passer rating, and 81/100 QBR.
They dominated to the tune of a 36-10 score...and at one point it was 36-3 in the 4th quarter. Could have easily scored 50+ in that game if they were not trying to run out the clock late in the game.
Comparing Alex English to Mahomes? Disrespectful as hell. Patriots folks are such assholes. I hope Mahomes will use this kind of nonsense as fuel to keep driving him.
How many rings would Tom Brady have if he did not get so much help from Bill Belichick's phenomenal defense? They literally won a ring where the offense needed 4 effing points in the Super Bowl, which is laughable. Brady scored 13 in that game, which is NOTHING to brag about. [Reply]
After Mahomes’s first year as a starter, I felt like he would win 3 rings with the Chiefs. And that would absolutely be a terrific number to win, which would immediately make him a top 5 QB all time. Without question.
This dude has won 2 so quickly and been so close on 3 other occasions (only stopped by a horrifically bad defense/coin flip, OL injuries, and a bizarre second half collapse), that 3 really seems low to me. You look at the state of the AFC as the other great QBs need to get paid and the lack of elite QBs in the NFC, and it’s hard to imagine how many he could win.
I don’t see a QB ever touching Brady’s 7, but could he win 5? I think 5 might be my current guess. And it’s just crazy how realistic that feels. [Reply]

I also thought his total would be 3, but now I'm thinking 5 [Reply]
Maybe I'm just riding the high, but 7 feels... if not likely, then at least doable??? Like, I'm not expecting it but if it happens I won't be particularly surprised??? Because Mahomes??!?!
