1998-99 team was pretty rough. 1999-00 wasn't much better, but that team at least had some amazing freshmen in Gooden, Collison and Hinrich.

There was a somewhat obvious sign of trouble that we all missed.

Players decided to jackass around during the scrimmage to the point that Self stopped it and yelled at all of them.

The new players decided that they could be idiots for the fans. The established guys who should be leaders (Harris and Adams) didn’t put a stop to it.

It’s just a scrimmage. It’s just for fun. Sure.

But I’ve never seen anything like that at all the Late Nights I’ve seen. The fact that Self had to get them in line was very telling.
