I'm sorry jjchieffan, I missed it, prayers for your sister Kristina and your family also, as I know what kind of toll it takes, we are going through something similar. Once again, prayers to you and all. [Reply]
Posted this in the wrong thread....8 in a row is the worst skid in over 40 years.
Everything was set-up for the Donks to win this game....short week, at home, altitude, 2 game winning streak, Chiefs injuries...Mahomes going down.
This was as bad a loss to KC as I can remember...against a back-up QB that was coaching HS 2 months ago. Denver has like $25 million invested in their QB situation and had taken actual reps.
Jesus...Horseface really whiffed by not taking Quenton Nelson. Chubb was a good pick...but he cant put together an O-line to save his life.
That team is so screwed up...Sanders, Miller and Harris all want out. Bolles is a bust. That leaves them with almost nothing to work with next year.
Donks are the new Browns of the AFC...at least Miami has the draft resources to rebuild and land a top QB.
Look at these two smug, cheating douchebags...yeah, you got away with the HGH but karma didn't forget.
The good new is you might actually be the worst team in the NFL next year and have a shot a Lawrence....so at least 3 seasons away from being potentially average. [Reply]

How tall is he?
Also Failway has to take a qb this year unless he’s really sold on Lock who should be starting before the season ends. But also Failway sucks so... [Reply]
It would be thrilling if the Broncos drafted a high quarterback prospect, and he refused to go to Denver and forced a trade because of Elway's terrible reputation. It would be a huge win for karma. [Reply]

:-) I bet it would be even sweeter living there being a Chief fan when that happened. [Reply]

I'd never thought about it, and I dislike such things on principle, but I REALLY want to see it now. We need to start an information campaign to the agents of all the top quarterbacks in upcoming drafts. [Reply]

Just send them a picture of Garrett Bolles [Reply]
This offseason is definitely the time for Elway to "bottom out." I could see him trading Von and Sanders and letting Harris walk. He'd spend the resources completely retooling the offensive line.
It still leaves him without a QB as well as most or all of his defensive leadership, but he'd at least be able to run the ball and protect whatever shitass QB he trots out there, whether that's Flacco or that dweeb Lock. Or maybe even some other veteran he overpays for (like Matt Moore lol!)
But, I still don't think that's a bad enough team to TRULY bottom out and land Lawrence. They would need some spectacular coaching incompetence and players quitting on the team like what happened with Romeo in order for that to take place. Either that or he'd need to have a Dolphins-like fire sale. That means trading away Chubb or any of the defensive starters. Perhaps Sutton or whatever the fuck Denver claims their best WR to be. Like... a full on bottom-the-fuck-out tank job. Miami Dolphins-style. And do it a week before the season starts.
