Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Yup - he's that dude.
Brady and/or Mahomes have been in the last 12 AFCCG with a rotating cast of characters opposite of them. The torch has been passed and we have the guy.

Patrick willed this team last night with terrible circumstances. He was an absolute monster.
He’s one of the best ever
It's because Mahomes is so good that they have to make excuses for it. Mahomes rarely gets credit for being the best in football despite 5 straight AFCCGs, 3 SBs in 4 years, two MVPs etc... Before it was because of his weapons and KC loses Tyreek. The narrative is KC will drop off and wont even make the playoffs........until they make the SB again. Then he didn't carry the team despite doing that while injured and down his top 4 WRs and a defense full of rookies. [Reply]
So after saying the Bengals had the easiest game this week...
The Mahomes throw right, rolling left on 3rd-and-5 when it was 13-13, setting up that 3rd-and-10 touchdown dart to MVS was ridiculous. He helped end a 10-game winning streak on one leg. Best player I've ever seen.
That's a pretty outstanding point regarding MJ vs. Russell.
Now that all being said, MJ still won 6. he didn't win Russell's 11 obviously, but 6 is about as many as any OTHER player has ever taken a team to.
So I think if Mahomes wants to take the MJ path to moving past Brady from a historical perspective he'll need 3-4 rings of his own.
I wouldn't bet against it...
If all that plays out it'll be the same story with Russell, the only people that will have Russell and Brady as the best will be old crotchety fucks in Boston. [Reply]
After awhile, even the biggest haters will have to recognize his greatness. We are so lucky to have him on our team and to have the privilege of watching possibly the greatest qb that's ever stepped foot on the field. Cherish every last snap you can because we'll likely never see anything like him again [Reply]
