Some fun here. Edwards-Helaire rushed for 1,415 yards and 16 touchdowns as a junior .. all-purpose yards -- receiving (55 receptions, 453 yards) and kick returner (KEY) 10 returns, 214 yards pic.twitter.com/3Duq1jjy6J
Holy offense Bat Man. I love Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He is best Rb in the draft. Watkins and Hill deep. Kelce in the middle. And Edwards-Helaire underneath. Good Luck defenses.
Brett Veach told Andy Reid to watch some Clyde Edwards-Helaire film and told Reid you’ll see Brian Westbrook. Reid watched. Then got back to Veach and said he’s better than Westbrook.
"It's not often the Super Bowl champs win the first night of the Draft. The @Chiefs got one of the most dynamic playmakers--and maybe my favorite--in the entire Draft in Clyde Edwards-Helaire. You return 20 of 22 starters and get another stud? C'mon." -@PSchrags | @ArrowheadPridepic.twitter.com/kAPVoQI52X

Look up the call. It’s on KC Chiefs YouTube page. Veach said Pat pick a player and he said Clyde. Veach said good we were thinking the same thing [Reply]
I think I've seen 6 different draft grades of ours, and 4 of them are A's. To me that just speaks volumes given the conventional wisdom of RBs in the first round, etc etc. This guy is just such a perfect and exciting fit for our offense -- which was obviously already other-wordly -- that it gets graded on a separate scale. Without an off season program a running back can still step in and be productive quickly.
The 5th year allows the Chiefs to keep him for 5 years and move on without dropping huge money on a RB.

I wasn't big on the idea.
but as I've also said, I think Veach and Reid have earned my trust.
Watching Helaire video all morning, I see why they were thrilled to pull the trigger.
He's got elite vision and good lord, that lateral quickness and ability to make people miss is really something.
With a less than stellar line, a back like this is what you need. He makes people miss.
I ain't gonna argue with it. Welcome Clyde the Glide, the fresh Prince of Helaire.
Now get me a LB, a CB and a couple of fatties and I'm happy. :-) [Reply]
You don’t invest in JP Morgan friends , you invest in JP Morgan. I.e Patrick Mahomes provides limitless amounts of potential so you load him up. For years!!!!! Watch the seed ( pat mahomes) produce fruit
