I am not taking the time to look back but I am pretty sure I read that they intentionally load the heavier people in the back of the raft. Not saying it wasn't a contributing factor just that this is be policy for whatever reason. [Reply]

So more than likely the child was in the front or the back, the size of the women made the other side float and the child hit the metal netting rod going full speed, decapitating him.
