I like Allen (as a player), but that stat was always so dumb and propped up by a small sample size vs mostly bad defenses. Only 1 AFCCG, no SB vs elite Ds like SF and TB which Mahomes has had to deal with.
I wonder if we'll ever get to the point in sports talk where everyone has intellectual honesty with each other, and actually consider context.

I saw the competitive gleam in his eye early on when he was doing a speed throw competition on tv against David Carr. Mahomes threw his first one high and immediately wanted the damn ball back so he could try again. It was all fun and games but I could tell Pat wasn't wanting to lose. [Reply]
