Start dealing, baby! Winning the division is hopefully not a 'possiblity' for anyone running the show, so make some moves. Hell, do what you can to build the OL while they're at it... maybe there is a quality OL or two out there that can be had for one of those players.
At this point, the quicker they can move on from the memory of the last SB win, the better. That might actually get people excited, quite honestly.
You just repeated my advice from 2 seasons ago...
Everything successful in our reality forms from a "pyramid down" hierarchy....even your neighborhood Arbys. You have to have stability at the top point...and the Donks dont. They have absentee ownership...and some FO personnel that, financially and contractually, benefit from keeping the status quo of failure.
Look at the top stable teams...they have a "pyramid" in place. Pats, Chiefs, Ravens, Saints...and new comers, Rams and Colts.
It's pretty obvious that Horseface's early success was a fluke...and landing HGHenstien masked his ability to evaluate talent.
Your team will never improve in it's current form...it's a mess. [Reply]
“In early September, the front office converted $13.6 million of Flacco’s base salary into a signing bonus to create extra cap space. Before the move, Flacco had no guaranteed money left on his deal. Now, he’ll carry a $13.6 million dead cap charge if the Broncos trade or release him before next season, and a $10.2 million hit if he’s let go before the 2021 season.” [Reply]

The Donks love them some dead QB cap money! Wait until they bring Luck out of retirement and give him a 100 million dollar contract- then he retires again. [Reply]

Quite a few people (including moi) made that suggestion about 3 seasons ago, Mr. Mile High Mania.
I got in an argument with that dinky-ass, hirsute, Good Sports dude about it, in fact.
There's a problem, though ... Elway cannot draft to save his ass. He can cheat real well. He can steal other teams' players just fine. He can drink like a desert whore and luck into an undrafted FA with elan. Unfortunately, he cannot draft.
Any rebuild for the donks has to begin with your GM.
