Broncos fans should bite down hard as they are taking it in the ass from the GM [Reply]
The Donk franchise is in danger of losing an entire generation of fans. Not only that, but we all know how impressionable young fans are by star players, so they may be losing an entire generation of fans to teams like KC. Look at all the Brady and Patriot ball washers that have surfaced over that past decade. Little kids like winners, not losers. They like hero's not zeros. Think about it, kid starts watching football with dad and understanding some of it about 4-5 years old. So the kids that started after the Donks last SB have seen nothing but suck and losing to the Chiefs and now they are almost teenagers. Give them another few years of suck, which it looks like will happen, and they will gladly jump on the Mahomes wagon. C'mon kids, there's plenty of room. Welcome aboard.
I am simply giddy with watching what has happened to that cheating assed franchise. And it couldn't be any sweeter having it happen under the direction of Elway. FTB! [Reply]

The fanboys that came along with Manning will all be gone by the year's end, if not already. The diehards though? They'll fight through it. [Reply]

Don't know about that. The diehards that really are diehards through thick and thin are getting older. Fans from the 80s and 90s are now finding other ways to spend their money. They have kids, grandkids, 80" TV's to watch all the games on, boats, RV's, etc. Plus, this is a different NFL. The thirty somethings are too busy to watch a loser franchise that seems to be going nowhere. The 40 somethings and up don't waste time on things that don't bring them joy or are poorly run. Millenials want a winner NOW. They are entitled. Fans in Denver were entitled already. Millenials will find something elso to do, someone else to cheer for. So, that leaves who? Teenagers and preteens. Oh, and women. They will be flocking to Mahomes though because all they've ever known is the Chiefs kicking the Donks asses. By week 8, half the seats in Pile High will be empty. Fans will go skiing instead. [Reply]

You pretty much just summed up the generic NFL fanbase... not just in Denver. [Reply]

Can't argue there. MANY USED to post here. The Mahomes Effect caused a mass exodus.
Small sample, my in laws, three generatiosn, live in Dungver and are long time Donk. But the first and second generations never knew, or don't remember, losing like this. They are totally entitled, and gave up last year. The third generation, like was predicted above, doesn't recognize the rivalry and idolizes Mahomes! [Reply]
