There is the PA that has been missing...and it not only sounds bad..it IS bad. You'll be down a #1 WR and a #1 CB. Donks will have a ton of cash...but no one will want to play there but middle of the road FAs looking to be over-paid. They will know Mahomes plays in the division...

They have two things that "might" keep them from being bottom dwellers for the foreseeable future.

Luring Luck out of retirement in 2 years...or being so terrible that they get the #1 pick in 2021. Lawrence would be an amazing get...but on a terrible roster. I would assume Horseface would be on to a new HC at that point...

I dont think Luck would choose a division with Mahomes in it though...probably head over to the NFC.

Doubt it. Denver's string of relevance came from Elway, Shanahan, Manning and, most of all I guess, Pat Bowlen. RIP to the guy.

The Broncos are now an absolutely irrelevant franchise. No one is going to care about you any time unless you basically hit the lottery on a QB, and with Elway in charge that damn sure ain't happening any time soon. No free agents are going to come there for anything other than money.

The league is going fast-paced, up-tempo, creative offense. Chiefs, Rams, Saints etc. Meanwhile, Elway hires a near-retirement, defensive-minded coach and trades for old-man Statue Flacco. :-)

The real question is: how many years will it be before you guys finally get rid of Elway? Til he's gone you are a basement-dwellar, unless maybe Rodgers snaps his leg next week, the Packers lose out, draft Tua and you guys trade a couple 1sts for Rodgers. And even then you're looking at 8-8 with that roster.
