Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

That is so weird to me. I can’t see how you could be good enough to be considered the MVP of the league, but not good enough to be first team All Pro. It seems like the two should go hand in hand. [Reply]

A lot of similar complaints about MVP vs OPotY as well. You'd think the MVP would be the OPotY every time. [Reply]
I remember listening to an episode of New Heights and the Kelce Brothers called the MVP award as Most Valuable Passer. I wonder if any non QB ever wins that award again and if so what would it take. I believe that had Jefferson broken Megatron’s receiving record he still would not have finished higher that 3 or 4 in the voting. [Reply]

Seriously...if you watched the Pats Bills game Sunday...you got a little taste of what's coming.
That missed offsides call was one of the worst I've ever seen. [Reply]

It wasn’t the missed offsides call that cost the Pats that game. It was giving up not one, but two kickoff returns for TDs. [Reply]

It looks like the all pro voters recognized a mediocre quarterback when they saw one. [Reply]

There isn't a single stat or narrative you can point to that would make Allen your MVP over Mahomes.
Mahomes had more total yards, higher completion %, higher passer rating, higher YPA, fewer INTs, fewer fumbles, more wins, #1 seed.
I mean, I suppose Allen's got the head-to-head over Mahomes but that is all I can think of. Burrow's got a stronger MVP case than Allen at this point. [Reply]
