Wait though, I thought the early home game would have masked the badness of the team and they would have won? Oh well.
I told you in this thread, before the Bears game in fact, that this year's Donx team is so terrible, that the best they can hope for is to not get blown out by good teams at home. So not sure why the confusion on your end. :-) [Reply]

Maybe, I'm sleepy... if the best they can hope for is not to get blown out by good teams at home... what's the worst they can hope for? Are you using a terrible, bad, good, better, best scale? [Reply]

It's pretty clear. Don't Donkey this up. If you don't understand, that's your problem. Denver SUCKS any way you spin it, no matter the scale. As I've told you many times, their record will reflect it MUCH earlier this season b/c the schedule is not home heavy early on. [Reply]

OK... still wondering if the best they can hope for is not getting blown out by good teams, is there a worst? [Reply]

Not really, believe I asked about your O/U for wins and you responded with a ceiling of 6-10 which I read as 6 to 10, not 6 and 10.
Your recent comment about the best case... just makes me wonder what the worst case would be? Oh well. [Reply]
I'm not going to pile on, mainly because everyone else is doing a pretty good job of it, however I am rather confused by the moves that Elway has made. Does he not remember playing against a really good defensive team in the same division that chose to keep putting other team's castoff quarterbacks on the field instead of drafting high in the first round?
It's not like the Chiefs weren't partially responsible for most of his comebacks. Prevent a win defense and run, run, pass punt offense for the last five minutes after leading for fifty five. [Reply]

It is weird that someone as gifted as he was at the position can't find a viable one in the draft. [Reply]

Getting blown out by average to below average teams? Getting completely out coached and outplayed by most teams you face? Sounds like best case to me but worst case to Dungver fans.
How much of the current seasons failures do you lay at Failways feet? [Reply]

Well, ultimately all the good, bad and ugly falls at his feet. [Reply]

How long does he get a pass? I think the SB bought him a little time. But it seems clear that the majority of that run was Manning based, and not so much Failway. He’s had some pretty horrid drafts. I guess when you can’t be fired, this is the results you get. [Reply]
