Hmmmm.....No Donx fans this morning to "Talk Football." In years past, they were all here at the crack of dawn to tell us how great they were...This year, no good start b/c FINALLY no heavy front loaded home schedule. The Last Place Denver Broncos are already in last place. As expected. :-) [Reply]

Well, I was here during the game... and it's only 8am where I'm waking up.
Overall, that was a turd and the defense, especially up front was non-existant. I expected the offense to stutter a bit, but not the defense. Hamilton's dropped TD was inexcusable and prior to that, Fant's foul taking them out of realistic FG range to end the half were two big negatives that could have changed the tone.
Oh well... 'we shall see' how they react from here. [Reply]

They were on the ROAD to open the season, so they LOST. Been telling you for YEARS a great deal of Denver's early season success, especially of late, had been due to the fact that they play a heavy front loaded home schedule. You refused to listen. Told you this season it stops, when we saw the schedule. You took the "we shall see" approach... Well, like what you see??? I DO! :-)
Next, I'll be revisiting your take on "quick turnarounds in the NFL."
This is year 4 in Denver. It ain't happening anytime soon... :-) [Reply]

He had a fumble, and in reality, should have had another where the replay showed his hand opening and losing control of the ball prior to him being down, but the refs didn't change the call. [Reply]

There are always ifs ands and buts after a game. Every week there are those plays. You could've also pointed to the fumble by Flacco where his hand was clearly opening and his fingers not on the ball prior to him hitting the ground. They got a FG out of that, and if they make the right call, then they get nothing and it's not ever a game. Or you could point to the missed facemask call on the same play. Or you could point to the missed pick attempt at the end or the dropped pick by the raiders. I mean, you could do that every week. Truth is, Flacco is not the answer. Fangio is in over his head. Coaches for the Donks actually looked lost and like they didn't know what to do next. They will win some games, mainly at home, but I'd expect a long season again for them. [Reply]

Well, they have not won @ the Raiders in a few years. This game likely would have been similar in Denver yesterday given the way they looked. [Reply]
