Still a good defense and Mahomes paid the price against them, whereas he might have gotten away with the mistakes against a really bad defense. Hopefully that game can be a good way to make him more focused later this season.

Oh no! Intended air yards!! We are sooo screwed now.

How is Mahomes doing with Imaginary Intended Touch Downs?

The Football War also known as the Hundred Hours' War or 100 Hour War, was a brief military conflict fought between El Salvador and Honduras in 1969.

Simulate a team’s expected performance with a player of interest and with an average player participating identically in his place. Take the difference in expected wins (e.g., Wins Above Average);

Determine the average player with a given participation profile’s wins above replacement player, assuming a team of replacement-level players is a 3-13 team;

Add the terms in the last two calculations to get that player’s WAR.

It’s when two nations don’t like each other and they fight with guns and tanks and whatnot.

But that's not important right now.

Why Patrick Mahomes changed critical Chiefs play call vs. Broncos … and what happened next: https://t.co/LsJFMjidsQ

Line blocked that up REALLY well. After the game, I noted that play as my favorite throw, but the line and receivers played it perfectly as well.

Patrick moved to make for an easier throw there, I think?

I think so. I think he wanted a completely open angle and not have to throw between the defenders.

So Mahomes & Russell Wilson take the same number of hits, but Russell gets sacked twice as often. Seems like Mahomes is a lot more effective at scrambling & getting rid of the ball. Even in his prime years in Seattle, Russell held the ball too long and everyone blamed his OL all the time for the high sack totals.
