Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Nope. He had 3 bad turnovers. But he also led the offense on long scoring drives to put 27 points on the board against a really good defense. He has had much worse games than that in the past, where the offense struggled to do much of anything. [Reply]

1 of those picks was a great defensive play [Reply]

He still leads the league in most categories with one of the worst schedules. Yes it wasnt his best game but to say he's lost the MVP now is crazy. He will ball out the last 4 games. [Reply]

He's the best player in the league having the best season of any QB in the league and carrying one of the league's worst defenses to a 10-3 record. If that doesn't qualify him for MVP in the media's eyes, the award is worthless anyway. [Reply]

Philly now has the number one scoring offense. Barely, like 29.7 vs 29.5 but it still makes us number 2 in that category.
We still rack up the most yards per game though.

It was huge, for sure, as was his third TD.
The third TD was vintage Mahomes- an incredible play regardless of importance. The 3rd down game-sealer to MVS was pretty standard for Mahomes, though. He was pretty wide open. [Reply]

Honestly that game hurt him some, but I still think he wins it. I do wonder if Hurts starts getting more love now. [Reply]

Obviously as Chiefs fans, we know he is the real MVP... however, this award stems from the eyes of the public, who are looking for ANYONE else to win it because they are over Mahomes. [Reply]

It reminded me of that pass he made at the end of the GB game last year to get that last first down and clinch the game. He was struggling that game too, but made one great pass which ended up being a turning point for the team last year. [Reply]

He looked incredible for the first 20 minutes or so, then just shit all over the field for basically the rest of the game. He did have two really awesome TDs so that's fun.
I'd say he probably lost a ton of ground in the MVP race today, though. Everyone will be pimping Hurts, then Burrow, then Mahomes.
I will say that of his three INTs, the first two were just great plays by the defense. I do wonder if it rattled him some though until he was able to regain his composure and seal it at the end. [Reply]
