Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Bad game in the Red Zone today, but still piled up 350+ yards of offense on a defense featuring Aaron Donald & Jalen Ramsey. Need to be a lot sharper next week against the Bengals. [Reply]

Even when he has a bad day, it's usually better than most QB's good days... [Reply]
Tua if he manages to play the rest of his games seems like the biggest threat to Mahomes winning MVP. His QBR is 5.4 points higher than Mahomes and the leader in QBR have been winning a lot of MVPs recently. Burrow is very far behind in QBR and already lost 4 games so I see him as a dark horse candidate.
Rodgers twice, Jackson, Mahomes all led the league in QBR during their recent MVP seasons. In 2017, Brady didn't but the leader I believe was Keenum playing less games and not having as high of a passer rating as Brady. In 2016, Matt Ryan narrowly led in QBR and won MVP. Cam Newton in 2015 is an example of a QB winning MVP with a relatively pedestrian QBR. The advantage that Newton has over Hurts is a better narrative and the perception that he was the better player. The award is NFL MVP, not The Bravest Little Cripple Who Could [Reply]
I don’t much care about the MVP award much. It’s pretty ridiculous and often goes to the good QB with the easiest schedule.
The year Jackson won it there is no way it’s not Mahomes and Rodgers back to back is a joke. He should have at least 2 by now. He doesn’t so I focus on the games that matter. [Reply]
