TOTAL BS. VJ was Elway's guy all the way. Ellis is the ONLY thing Elway has going for him. Most all of your successful draft picks are linked to Ellis, not Elway. VJ was indeed in over his head, but the reality of it is, with Manning gone, so is Elway. :-) [Reply]

Whats so funny is Denver had the 20th pick in the draft while KC had the 27th. Reid/Veach/Dorsey was smart enough to know there were a couple teams that were ready to pounce on Mahomes from 11 on down.

It makes you wonder if he simply reads the draft magazines and uses them for his big board. I think he's that ****ing stupid, at least as far as QBs go.
