Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Take away Cousins' top three receivers and they would lose by 50. Take away Pat's top three WRs and they beat the bolts on the road.
It's over. Give him the award and a statue at the stadium so we know where to fight.
Hmmm ESPN underrated this performance in my view. He had zero turnover worthy plays, very clutch plays with both his arm and legs. They graded it 78/100. That’s good but seems like it was more of a 90/100 type of game. Flip side is they overrated his first game against Chargers a couple months ago, where he had 4-5 turnover worthy throws and they graded it 61/100. [Reply]

Mahomes leads Josh Allen by 375 yards and 5 total TD.
He has a full game lead on his next closest competitor.
If Mahomes sits two weeks he might lose it.
One week and he's going to have at least one more win than the next closest guy, and probably 200-300 more yards and 3-4 more TD, conservative estimate.
A lot depends on if Josh's ligament heals at all. It's not right at the moment, period, there are no more deep balls in that offense. [Reply]

pencil in that one seed too if that happens
fortunately the titans are about to beat the shit out of the bengals so they may be nice and tender for us
The Bengals are the one pretty difficult game on paper left that the Chiefs have (not that any game is a guarantee in the NFL, see the Colts game), but I imagine the Chiefs will be up for that one after last year. Not so worried about that one. [Reply]

At the moment I think some voters probably have Tua & Hurts ahead of Allen & Mahomes. The “shiny new object” tends to get a lot of attention. Ton of football remaining for all 4 of those guys and we will see how it shakes out. [Reply]
