Dante84 07:19 PM 04-27-2017
IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

It's nice
Yep, he was at the ceremony when Patrick was inducted into the Texas Tech Ring of Honor- and no issues. Maybe, he is growing up?

most people don't win at 80 percent of anything they do except maybe taking a piss
And it took a combo of factors to all hit in one game for him to lose or his winning percentage would be even higher. The Colt's loss was a hurricane of miscues, blunders, and missed opportunities, but we still almost won. Only a few of his losses were because of his own poor play.

i'd like another 25-1 streak like we had between 19/20 right about now

that would put mahomes at... .835 :-)

so just win out and go 16-1 next season

That's been true for the vast majority of KC losses since 2018. But you can also say that's the trend in the NFL (close wins, close losses) since they want every team to go 8-9 or 9-8. You have the salary cap, tougher schedules for the best teams, and much weaker draft picks for the best teams. They want the games to be very close and basically a 50/50 deal in terms of winning or losing.

I think the forum has done a good job of telling the creepy weirdos obsessed with Mahomes' family to either knock it off or go fucking kill themselves.

Creepy weirdos…dipshits…call them what you want I’m just glad we don’t have to hear from them anymore like SNR said. If you were obsessing over what a kid in his 20’s was doing on on a kids social media site than you lost all your rights to judge another human being about what they’re doing in their life. Some of the people passing judgement were supposedly full grown men as well.

After hearing Romo say that they were throwing so many different looks/coverages at Mahomes that even he couldn’t figure it out. I gotta wonder, did teams not try this stuff against Manning/Brady/Rodgers etc? Imagine by the time Patrick has had everything thing they can throw at him, he’s gonna be an even more amazing quarterback. How many more things can DCs possibly cook up to try to take him out of his game?

Yes and all those QBs laid much bigger eggs than Pat in games over their careers. Mainly in games where teams rushed 3 or 4, got pressure, and had 7 8 in coverage

Their is no secret gameplan. That's always been the ticket, but the pressure has to hit home
