Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
Hey Clay. Make that your new avatar, only change the wording to say days since Clay was wrong on a football take. And leave that number at 0000. [Reply]

They earned the right to six Prime Time games because they were 12-4 last year, lost two games by 2 points and one by 7 points. They're a really good football team that's banging on the door of an AFC Championship and a Super Bowl.
You, Clayno and the other minion, New World Odor, are embarrassing yourselves, which of course, is nothing new.
Right, Geno?
Define "banging on the door." Do you just mean making the playoffs?
100 percent agree.
But what has this team done or addressed to make one reasonably believe it has what it takes to get past New England or Pittsburgh in the playoffs?
Moving Hill to a more prominent role as a WR also makes him less of a factor in the return game, which could dip point production there.
Even if the defense is a turnover-generating, points producing machine, the rest of the team just doesn't suggest it has enough to get past those really elite teams.

Right, Geno?
Find one post, ONE where I have advocated starting Mahomes in 2017.

We don't owe him shit. If people want to praise him for helping the team be "respectable," they can, but I never will. KC could have gotten to respectable with a large number of less expensive prospects. Maybe there is a win or two less per season on average, but it wouldn't have affected the upside at all if a cheaper journeyman game manager had taken snaps the past four seasons instead of Alex Smith.

@AdamSchefter: BREAKING: The Kansas City Chiefs just released Alex Smith and give Pat Mahomes the nod at the starting QB position.
This will end ALL Alex Smith threads forever. No more mediocrity, no more he needs more weapons, no more he just wins games, no more excuses, no more check downs, no more ALEX SMITH debates!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We should have never gave Smith and extension and drafted Carr in the first round. Since we didn't we should have cut Smith this year, kept Foles to start no still go with Mahomes in 18.
Foles would get more out our offense this season than Smith will. Our schedule is going to destroy Smith weak passing game. His arm is total crap. [Reply]
