I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.
KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.
One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future. [Reply]

Yes - but I think we kept the game plan very, very vanilla. I'm usually not a homer like this but we didn't blitz very much, and on offense, we ran mostly straight down the middle all night.
Lots of teams have these types of issues in the 2nd week. I'll be worried if we get gashed by Iowa State. [Reply]

True, there was little to no blitzing. But I didn't like the fake fg call though. That one could had been saved as well. And still, even when KSU wasn't blitzing, receivers still managed to get open on the soft coverage. Posted via Mobile Device [Reply]

I doubt the fake FG call would have worked against a Division 1 team. Our punter pitched it to our kicker. :-) [Reply]

Bastard. lol. No, I saw it. I did mention that "Gee, I wonder if our kicker got it in" which resulted the play being reviewed.
Had a good time, looking forward to the UCF game. [Reply]
