Coming off an American League Divisional Series appearance, its year 3 of Matt Quatraro tenure. Can they take the next step to a division title? Can Bobby Witt, Jr. take his superstar status to another level? Can Cole Ragans develop more? Will the other starting pitching duplicate last season? The offense can it deliver more? Who will be in the outfield? How about the new stadium development?

Royals had a combined .269 OBP from leadoff hitters last year.
India, who 'sucks', has a career OBP of .352.
In his two seasons where he stayed healthy and played 150+ games, his OBP was .366
He will help tremendously, no matter how you look at it.
We don't need him to have a career season, just replicate his ROY performance from 2021 and this offense will be rolling all year long. Assuming Vinnie can rebound and not just be a cardboard cutout with a stick, like he was when he returned from injury last year. His spring training AB's have not looked good, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now as he has proved he can hit at a high level in the past.
But I'm way more concerned about Vinnie's performance going forward than I am India's. [Reply]

Yes he should. He mainly seems to suck at defense it like based on WAR stats. [Reply]

We also have our most important player coming soon. Jack Sh.... I mean Jac Caglianone [Reply]
Jeff Passan lists Jac Caglianone as 1 of 10 players that scouts are buzzing about in his latest piece:
“Kansas City has something of a first-base glut with Vinnie Pasquantino and Salvador Perez, so Caglianone will get outfield reps this year and could find himself playing in a…
I'm wracking my brain... Has KC ever really developed a true power hitter outside of maybe Bo Jackson before? Could Jac be the first to really make the leap and be a consistent threat out of the gate and for years to come?
Imagine if by some miracle, Jac turns into our version of an Aaron Judge type. Now imagine Jac and BWJ in the same lineup for several of their prime years together.
