Nzoner's Game Room>2024 MLB Playoffs Thread (non-Royals)
SHOWTIME 05:38 PM 09-29-2024

Who's winning it this year?

This is a thread for non-Royal playoff games since I assume there will be a separate one for the Royals…

The AL Central has been an embarrassment against the Yankees for years. Easiest path to the WS ever.

Royals would’ve kicked the shit out of Cleveland if they found a way to get past the Yankees. No doubt about it.

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. If we would've somehow figured out how to get past the Yankees, I truly think we had a very, very good chance getting past Detroit or Cleveland. Next year!!!

There's a pretty good chance we're going to see a Dodgers vs. Yankees World Series for the 12th time. Unless you are 50 and older, you're too young to remember or weren't alive for the 1981 World Series.

We'll see if the Mets can bounce back and make this a series. If they don't win game 4, it's over for them.

It's the networks and MLB wet dream to have the 2 largest fan bases in the league in 2 of the largest cities in the World Series....that way they can guarantee a large viewership and draw more revenue from ads.

We can officially say Clase is no Wade Davis. Back to back homers by Judge and Stanton and Cleveland blows the lead.

That Game 1 of the ALDS looms large.

This entire postseason looks different if the Royals close that one out.

I'm still not cool with how that series went down. Royals really could've won that series if they had anything going their way. Fucking Yankees...
