Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

I remember after we lost the 2018 AFCCG fans were asking if this was his “Dan Marino Super Bowl moment.” People were saying “you can’t just assume Mahomes will make it back here, he could be like Marino in 1984!”
Jokes on them, he’s made it back every year of his career and even won a Super Bowl
I read a while back that QB's that lost their 1st SB appearance (like Burrow and Marino) have never come back to win one. Ever. [Reply]

The Denver left handed pass game evoked a funeral of football sadness in my Colorado workplace the day after the game. They knew we had the real deal then. [Reply]

That can't be right. Dawson, Griese, Unitas, Elway [Reply]

They're sitting where we were during the 2019 regular season. We were coming off a heartbreaking playoff loss we felt was stolen from us. We brought back all the key pieces and added some reinforcements. We had the baddest motherfucker on earth under center and all that was left was to prove it.
The 2022 Bills are essentially the 2019 Chiefs. And yeah, we were absolutely wound tight and just a liiiiiitle insecure during that 2019 season as well.
Ain't anything hurt here.
Mahomes did it in his 2nd year of starting. Allen is on year 5.
I’ll buy all that if the Bills do pull it off this year. If not, the road is only going to get more difficult, and people are going to have to ask, “Where’s the ring? What’s the holdup?”
How many years did Manning get labeled a playoff choker? Why wouldn’t Allen be subject to the same (unfair) criticism? [Reply]

4 playoff wins from 1970-2017…1 AFCCG appearance, while the Chargers, Raiders, and Broncos combined for 25:-)
Mahomes was a franchise changing player on another level, that’s why alot of KC fans don’t like seeing other QBs getting compared to him, especially the ones with no rings
if they would have stayed and took Mahomes. Next year we trade up next year for Allen we would be very happy too. But, of course bitching why we didn’t trade up the year before.
We have a lot in common with Buffalo besides original AFL teams. We tend to be really loyal and hardcore fans. Middle class. They do the wings, we do Q. We both lost very painful games in the playoffs over decades. That said unless there is an injury at QB, we will be rivals for awhile. [Reply]

Allen got drafted at 7
We would’ve had to trade up even higher than we did for Mahomes
We won a ring with Mahomes, and it wasn’t easy. Zero guarantee we win that with Allen. Those 49ers were an excellent team on both sides of the ball
