Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]
#Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes on throws 15+ air yards today: 7-of-7 for 184 yards
Drew Brees is only QB to finish 7-of-7 or better on those passes since ESPN began tracking air yards in 2006. Brees did it twice, going 7-of-7 each time.
I ain't mad at 'em. They're us - just a few steps behind in the process.
You can still see shadows of it. People get pretty twisted up at the mere suggestion that the Bills are as good as the Chiefs are. Always looking for the tiniest bit of disrespect to try an pull receipts on someone. [Reply]

People talk about 0-4, but the 50 year SB drought was no joke
4 playoff wins from 1970-2017…1 AFCCG appearance, while the Chargers, Raiders, and Broncos combined for 25:-)
Mahomes was a franchise changing player on another level, that’s why alot of KC fans don’t like seeing other QBs getting compared to him, especially the ones with no rings [Reply]

Sure - but we were convinced that Mahomes had changed everything BEFORE the rings.
They're sitting where we were during the 2019 regular season. We were coming off a heartbreaking playoff loss we felt was stolen from us. We brought back all the key pieces and added some reinforcements. We had the baddest motherfucker on earth under center and all that was left was to prove it.
The 2022 Bills are essentially the 2019 Chiefs. And yeah, we were absolutely wound tight and just a liiiiiitle insecure during that 2019 season as well.

Ain't anything hurt here.
Media put a ton of pressure on Mahomes to win a ring. Seemed like once we dismantled the then high-powered Bengals on SNF everyone in America realized we were 100% legit (except haters with heads in the sand) and the race was on to see if Mahomes would ever win a ring
I remember after we lost the 2018 AFCCG fans were asking if this was his “Dan Marino Super Bowl moment.” People were saying “you can’t just assume Mahomes will make it back here, he could be like Marino in 1984!”
Jokes on them, he’s made it back every year of his career and even won a Super Bowl [Reply]
