0-9 probably won't happen, but it is possible.
Hell, anything is possible. KC's offense could fly off the rails without Hill. Did KC really do enough to address the defensive issues?
I have no idea what games DEN will be favored in and I never pay attention to it. On paper, it's a beast of a schedule and yes - many teams look better than 2018.
Flacco could certainly suck, but thinking he won't have a solid year is misguided, IMO. Flacco doesn't need to be the savior, he just needs to make some plays and protect the ball. They may not be littered with all-pros, but they have nice talent. I'm interested in seeing how the new coaching staff runs things, Vic isn't running the offense... don't know what to expect from the new OC and crew, but Munchak should be able to fix some of what has hurt them on the OL and that's key. What is the 2019 Official Donktastic Record headed in to the donkey bye-week, Mr. Pasta? [Reply]

Thinking the Chiefs offense will fall off a cliff is homer talk and absolutely ludicrous. Also, you know damn well most of those teams are better than Denver. The thin air helps, but still... [Reply]

Let's be clear, I was saying "anything can happen"... didn't suggest that it would or say that I believed it would. [Reply]

I think more like 7, with 8 being the ceiling. And I have been more right than you have with predicting records the past 3 seasons. :-)
Yeah, well, we don't have VJ at HC anymore. His poor gameday decision making accounted for 2-3 L's each season. No telling if Fangio will be better on gameday, but there maybe is an addition by subtraction factor.
Flacco, well, he's a bum, simple as that. Maybe they can get 22 TD's, only 10 INT's out of him.
Fant should be helpful, we all know a guy that can score TD's is a good thing. Risner is a plug-n-play OG, he'll start game one. Grabbed Mike Munchak as OL coach.
Lock, I've never watched a single game he's played, but generally a 4-year starter in college in different O systems, a strong arm, those are QB's that have a good chance to develop into quality long-term NFL starters. Didn't cost us much in draft capital.
Got two D guys for DL/LB depth. Sure need to clean up the Chris Harris situation, Elway the fool punked him around in the media, that was so f'n stupid.
Overall, things are getting better. Maybe can compete for the AFCW Title after three consecutive seasons of 3rd place, then 4th place, then 3rd place again.
Interestingly, the points differential during that poor 3-yr stretch was not bad - +36 in 2016, -93 in 2017, -20 in 2018. To me, a major problem was poor gameday coaching from the HC and DC.
And, last but not least, fuck off you KC wannabe mutts that choked away a home AFCCG last year! [Reply]
When we sweep the Donks next year, that will be 9 in a row and tied for second-longest winning streak in team history. We beat them 11 in a row before.
With Mahomes- looks like we could push the streak to 20 in a row. [Reply]
