The #Chiefs are hiring Steve Spagnuolo as their new defensive coordinator, sources say. The former #Giants DC and interim HC/#Rams HC began his NFL coaching career as an #Eagles assistant under Andy Reid. Now rejoins Big Red in KC.

Spags playing to win.
He knew if he just sat back and let no pressure get there they were dead.
Better to force the issue and maybe they score quickly and you get the ball back with 3 timeouts. [Reply]

Much less Spags, who has two rings, one with one of the most average QBs in Eli Manning. He's so far beyond the realm of CP any criticism from here should sound something like a single gnat buzzing around his ankles. [Reply]

It happened late in 2019 season as well. Led to a championship. Would be awesome if it happens again. [Reply]

Yeah, I just don't think that defense was playing this strong. I see this group as better and more athletic on all three levels, especially linebacker. If Shanahan had stuck with the run game in the SB it could very well have been a different outcome. Don't think 19 defense ever put together a string of dominance like this [Reply]
