Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

It seems like we've always had trouble putting teams away with Andy (even with Mahomes) but he always found a way to get the lead or tie it up when we were tied or losing in do or die situations. [Reply]

That 2020 team let opponents get close in the 4th but they always came up with a 4 minute drive to ice the game [Reply]

You're probably right, but I watch every single game to the end, and for some reason I seem to remember us having trouble icing games like that when we're ahead. We almost always come back if we're behind, but we seem to have issues putting teams away when we're ahead. [Reply]

Not always.
The Ravens game last year ended with the offense throwing a pick, fumbling the ball away, and going 5 plays for 13 yards on the only 4th quarter drive that didn't end in a turnover.
Their last drive against the Chargers the next week was an INT as well. [Reply]

I think that was the 2021 team.
The 2020 team the year before would have been 15-0 heading into the final week if they hadn’t been Cleted.
The Super Bowl that year makes it easy to forget how good that team was. [Reply]

The injuries to Schwartz & Fisher screwed them in a major way. They’re still struggling with it because Orlando is a quasi-bust and Niang is an injury bust. [Reply]

I feel like Cheffers opened the door to two years of built up anger from that Super Bowl with his call against the Fade. I wish him the best reffing in KC in the future.

Andy’s choice to rework the entire line after Fish went down is one I feel like he would take back if he could. I bet his son would take back a couple of choices made during those weeks, too. What a disaster everything was there.
Trey’s apparent step back this year is also not helping. [Reply]

Bipolar ****ing planet.
The Chiefs offered a fat ass 20M a year but a HOF WR 30M was too much. Our window to win Super Bowls is right now. I wouldn't have paid Tyreek either if Kelce was 27, but he's not, hes 33. [Reply]

The 2020 Chiefs never lost a 2nd half lead all season [Reply]

we literally don't need tyreek
we lead the league in scoring
the league simply wasn't going to let us use tyreek the way $30M commanded you use him
and so far he hasn't been worth that jack in miami
