The Dolphins considered moving on from James last offseason but never could find an upgrade at right tackle. He's a prime candidate to get overpaid by a desperate organization.
UPDATE: The Broncos are signing James to a four-year contract worth $51 million ($32 million guaranteed), Rapoport reports.
And that desperate team is..........the Donks! :-). Please keep ElFraud as GM forever Dungver. Almost $13 million per year for a right tackle that was 3rd in the league in holding penalties last year. Well, he sucks, but at least he fits the Donks motto. Just cheat baby.
Competition is great! He and Mongo can compete for the most holding penalties among O-lineman. Another quality FA signing by Johnny GM!...:-) [Reply]

Elgay asked, "Ja'Wuan some more money? How about paying you 51 Million dollars!!!!???"
James- "Deal."
It is a good thing Flacco is so mobile-lol [Reply]
NFL Network's James Palmer reports that Broncos GM John Elway believes 34-year-old Joe Flacco is "just getting into his prime."
Per Palmer, Flacco also "plays the position exactly how (the Broncos) envision it being played." Elway also apparently pointed to Flacco's decent 2014 season under then Ravens OC Gary Kubiak as a reason for optimism. New OC Rich Scangarello is expected to employ a similar system. In a word: Yikes. Flacco has been one of the league's worst quarterbacks for several years now. Best of luck.

NFL Network was making fun of Elway the other day for statements at the combine that he thought height was an issue when evaluating quarterbacks. Height seems to be a weird obsession of his even above talent. [Reply]
The Broncos' new right tackle signed a four-year, $51 million contract ($32 million guaranteed). This makes him the NFL's highest-paid right tackle on a per-year basis ($12.75 million). Last year, as a member of the Dolphins, James allowed seven sacks -- according to Pro Football Focus, that tied him for 53rd among 66 tackles who played at least 300 snaps.
"Well, at least he was better than those 13 other guys...they were terrible. Lets make him the highest paid" - Horseface
James’ 70.8 overall grade ranked 32nd at the offensive tackle position
This is how FA plays out in Donkoland now without Manning...Keesum, Flacco, James vs. Talib, Ware, Sanders, Ward. [Reply]

The truly unfortunate part is that this just re-struck the market so much higher if we want to extend Schwartz who might be the most underpaid player in football right now. [Reply]

Yuck. This is why morons should not be allowed to run football teams. [Reply]
Ah, that's wonderful! Just the kind of thing you want to see in your Donkey thread. Also, fans and writers like Mike Clit are the reason that such a high percentage of fans throughout the league are fucking idiots. [Reply]
