Indy had Manning in his prime for 13 years, and he was known as a big playoff choker. Maybe not as big of a choker as the Chiefs, but you get the point. Denver won a SB despite Manning. When they had to really rely on him more, they choked in the playoffs for three years.

:-) When this Fangio hire doesn't work out and Elwoe has to short-can him 2 years in to his contract, those are EXACTLY the kind of phone calls ol' Johnny-boy will be having with the better, more talented coaches in this league. [Reply]
Remember that game vs KC when he went 5/20 for 35 yards and 4 INTs? That was the first of his last 5 games. Denver was playing with a crippled old man QB. He was being propped up like Weekend at Bernie’s. [Reply]

We all know Aqib Talib, Ware, Ward etc.. all went to Denver because they really just loved the scenery. [Reply]

Von Miller, Chris Harris, Malik Jackson, Danny Trevathan, Derek Wolfe, Sly Williams had no choice. They were all drafted by Elway to be part of that defense, and it had nothing to do with Manning. [Reply]

Most of your starting secondary were FAs and Ware was still playing at a very high level when he was healthy.
Those FA flocked to Denver because of Manning. That's why you haven't had any big FA signings lately and probably won't have any for the foreseeable future.
There's a reason why they're not rushing out to Denver to play with Trevor Semen, Case Keesum or Joe Flacco. [Reply]

It's funny......no hilarious, how much Denver has sucked since Manning retired.
Think they will be picking top ten for a third straight year knowmo? [Reply]

Meanwhile, were the Chiefs flush with cash, we'd have to unplug the fucking telephone. [Reply]
